Normal business has been resumed. Storm Hannah blew in and disrupted racing on Saturday, of course unless your name was Hannah in which case you just stormed to victory.
At her first Nottingham regatta Hannah Gallagher won both her K1 races and teamed up with Honor Lewis to win the Girls D K2 200. They also added in Natasha Jones and friend to win the Girls C K4 500.

On the much more pleasant Sunday, Liam Heath proved he is back in winning form, winning the K1 200 selection event despite trying to take the starting bucket with him.
In boys A our crew boats were strong but not quite at the front yet, Ethan and Perry look particularly good as they were a year younger than many of the other competitors and there is promise of more to come.

Elsewhere Sam Bicknell got to his first K1 final, Jordan Martyn made his first Boys A 200 final (thx Alex for a pushing the K2 on), Patrick Allen and Arthur Morley had a good first/second regatta and Natasha Jones came 3rd in Girls C K1 1000 in 6 mins 37seconds (which says a lot about conditions).

In old boy racing, Kenlea Murray was making waves so effectively I had to jump in a K2 with him to share the gongs. Winning the O44 K2 500, and second in the 200m. He also picked up a silver and bronze in the K1s.

We were short of supporting noise, so are looking forward to a much bigger Wey crowd for the next regattas and particularly the interclub competition on 29-30 June.
