Wey Kayak Club Development Coach Opportunities.
Wey Kayak Club are seeking to employ 2 passionate, knowledgeable part time coaches. They must be great team players to work with our 390 members and 40 coaches and respected in the canoeing community. We intend to have a lead coach working approximately 20 hours /week and support coach approximately 11 hours /week. The role will be based at the club in Guildford. The role will involve a broad range of coaching from coaching our coaches, to running training sessions for paddlers, mainly from competent new comer up to international standard. A key role will be encouraging everyone to find a challenge within the sport that gets them excited whether this is in traditional racing or elsewhere.
Some work with schools and beginners is likely.
Hours will be early mornings and evenings during the week plus Saturdays.

Competitive pay dependent on experience and qualifications.

Gym Reorganisation This Weekend
All, we have some new equipment arriving next week so need to re-organise the gym this weekend, starting Saturday morning about 10am.
Any adults with some time and muscle to spare would be really appreciated, please wear suitable clothes/shoes, the kit is heavy to move. This is likely to continue on Sunday, we'll post a note if we still need help on Sunday.
