Of the 39 club K2's we currently have 13 which are not userable because of missing seats and footrests.
This includes 4 Nelos, 2 Plastex and 1 Vajda. Between them there are 15 missing seats and 8 missing footrests.
The only way to fix this is for all us who use the boats to check where the missing bits are and bring them to the club. There is a box by the door to put them in.
Saturday morning we are going to have another go at setting the boats up, so if you have any bits please bring them down by then.
Getting the boats available and keeping them available will be a focus going forwards.
Please help us to help you by never removing bits from a club boat. On occasion such as fitting pumps there are reasons to change footrests - but always leave all the boats ready for the next person. If you see anyone removing bits please inform a coach.
These are expensive bits of kit, when you put them away please dry them out and check they are ready for the next person.

The GWC 400 Club draw for January 2018 was made, on 19 January, by Tony Iannaccone the Employers Agent, for the Phase 5 project. The monthly draw winning ticket for £50 was No. 231.
We have recently upgraded the Ladies showers and the revamped kitchen is now in operation. We have recently replacement some equipment in the Gym.
A total cost in excess of £20,000. Repair work for the break-in is nearly complete and this has cost us money. We are also considering increasing the security which will also cost.
As we move into 2018 the project for extending the building( Phase 5) to give the Samson Centre for MS a greater facility is well under way and site investigations are currently under way. Although most of the funding for this will come from the SCfMS grants the GWC will be taking the opportunity to improve facilities and carry out maintenance on the existing building. The GWC will need to find funding for this so the GWC 400 Club can help.
We would encourage all members and friends of the GWC clubs to join the GWC 400 Club. All profits from the 400 Club go to fund raising for maintenance and updating equipment at the Centre. Please help by passing this onto as many people as possible who you think may like to help.
Club Fundraising We need to continually fundraise to keep our equipment, buildings and volunteer training up to date. Please support us by: joining the 400 Club, using www.easyfundraising.org.uk/weykayakclub and purchasing refreshments from our kitchen, tea (50p), coffee (80p), bacon roll (£1.50) &...
