The course although not yet complete is open. They are still digging the other 1000m. You can use the first 1000m. It is a nice place, clean and it even has clear blue water (as oppose to the brown Nottingham water we usually sprint on!) However the course is very open and so if windy it is worse than Nottingham.. The area also is not secure, within 10 minutes of being there a canoeist's car had been broken into. Make sure you do not leave anything valuable in your car.
